The location was scenic on the lake. I enjoyed the views. the walk to the theatre area through campbell park was quite nice. the adjacent pub provided convenient access.
The hotel looked quite dated upon arrival. finding the entrance was difficult. It is located behind the green king pub. the front door of building two was not secure, made me uneasy.

the staff were really kind and helpful, making the beginning of the stay quite promising.
the balcony lacked furniture and was covered in cigarette butts and cobwebs , the toilet didn't flush properly , and our lake activity was canceled due to maintenance , forcing a change of plans.
